Mend Water Cycle Wrong

How do I fix my washer?

My washer is throwing cold water in the hot water cycle and hot water in the cold water cycle. What do i do to fix it? I figured that I put the cords on wrong but it doesn't have a specific way or direction on how to place the cords so I just put them on there. Help Me Please!
