door knobs?

The piece on the right clicks into the piece on the left and should not come out until the handle is turned.

Look at you door latches and see whats going on with each one. Sometimes you can solve this problem with a piece of thin card behind the latching plate to make it stick out further.

Alternatively can pack out the door hinges with card to push the door over a little which is slightly more elegant but requires much more effort.
