I attapted to download latest firmware for my eurovox max, I wasn't sure at the time wether it was a red or blue box, I attepted the red download but it stated that this firmware was not compatable, so i downloaded the blue firmware dated 30-11-08. Originally all seemed well, all channels working, then tv picture froze, with the front display on box showing C242. I tried to download again but still showing same on display. It now looks like that there is no connection between box and tv as there is no picture what so ever. what does the C242 mean and how do I fix the problem. Regards Chalkie
I do actually have a blue box and have reflashed with different firmware, but to no avail, at end of download the front display is still showing C242 with tv screen showing what seems like no connection what so ever.
On further investigation it seems that I might well have a cloned box, if so how and what do I use or do to correct the fault.

if you go to www.afterdawn.com , and look up blue / or red box , it tell you the differenge between them , by the number of vents..
