bosch classixx 1000 spin light flashe but does not drain?

Hi washing machine had stopped full of water, cleaned out pump - removed it and checked it direct to mains spins ok. On cycle it washes and drum turns. Howwve it doesnt drain and stops after a while with spin light flashing.
also nothing happens when spin setting is used... help
