Mend Glow Worm 30CI Combi Heating Pressure

fill valve?

I have a glow worm 30ci combi boiler.
The pressure has dropped so it has gone off. When i turn thr fill valve (blue handle) i cant hear any waterr going into the system.

early valves are plastic inside and break internally leaving it sealed shut by the water pressure when you open it. Its time for a new valve. about £20 don't forget to turn the power+mains water off when fitting

Just keep opening and closing the device and maybe give it a few taps

I have the same problem on a Glow worm 24 cxi, I fully open the blue valve, with the same result no sound of water filling and the gauge at 0.4

Make sure you give the handle a few good turns maybe you are not fully opening it and look at the display panel to see if the digits (pressure Bar) are rising
