it is vaxhaull vivaro 2003 only has 2 screws how do i clean it

hello i have a 2003 vaxhaull vivaro i want to get to the egr valve to clean it. i have found the valve but what do i do next

egr valve is under the air box at the top / back of the engine
it is a cilinder shape and is bolted on with 3 10mm bolts
and has a plug/leads attached to it! it is bolted to a cast alumium boy that is in turn attached to a stainless steel tube that runs the length of the back of the engine! if you take off the egr it will have only a single steel pin that pushs against a sring loaded valve in the aluminium casing!!! good luck
