Mend Toshiba D-VR35SB Stopped Working Electricity

Toshiba D-VR35SB - stopped working?

After switching the house mains electricity back on (after doing some electrical work) I found that my DVD (model above) did not come back on - I changed the fuse in the plug, and the fuse inside the casing (2A white fuse beside the power lead) and it still seems to be receiving no power - any ideas what to try next?
