Ford E150 Van full size conversion 302 engine 1989battry?

battery died trying to start van, 10 degree weather, it started at once but only ran a couple seconds and engine died. turning key produced nothing.put this battery in Oct 2002 had been good, 1000 amp 900CCA.We put the best interstate battery in that would fit,85 month 875CCA. Exactly same result as dead dead battery. getting 12.8 volts across starter sil anoid. all lights fans etc. Someone said thereis a triedareset button on kick panel tried both sides, engine compartmentused mirror with 5cell light,if there is one they have well hidden. I am 82 soon, wife and I have kept a lot of Fords going but it appears electronics has put us on the bench.
