Mend Peugeot 406 Immobiliser Keypad

How can I fix my Peugeot 406 immobiliser?

The immobiliser on my Peugeot 406 (97 P reg) won't light up. The wires behind the keypad unit were broken and have been repaired, but there's no life showing at the keypad, so the car can't start.

Any ideas anyone?
