My Partner chainsaw started hunting when running. It then stopped all together. Occasionaly it will start and run for about 2 seconds. I've taken out the jets and blown them through but it made no difference. Any ideas welcome.
....or you could simply change the pump and metering diaphragms at a fraction of the cost. Given that you know how to remove the jets etc, replacing the diaphragms for the cost of around a tenner would be a walk in the park for you.
A lot cheaper than replacing a complete carb.

First off, is there a spark at the plug. If so try putting a small amount of fuel down the spark plug hole and then try starting with the plug back in, if it starts then you have a fuel problem. New carburetor is probably ur only solution.
