Mend Whirlpool LTE5243DZO Heating Element Tumble Dryer

Whirlpool Thin Twin Dryer?

How do I repair the heating element of the dryer? It still turns but does not heat. It is venting and tumbling but not getting hot and drying the clothes. The model is LTE 5243DZO The serial is MG4911202 The Type is 143-00

I have exactly the same problem - I'm hoping that you've corrected the problem by now and will let everyone know what it was and the solution.
I believe it may be the thermal fuse at the back of the dryer - very inexpensie part. It must be replaced as it cannot be reset. The other thing of course is that it could be in need of an element replacement.
