Glow Worm Galaxie Obsolete spare required?

The gas fire control knob has broken (again) on our long obsolete Glow worm Galaxie 246N fire and a search for another has been a failure. I was hoping to keep this fire and back boiler going until the summer when we had scheduled a new modern boiler and new fire etc to be fitted. Does anybody know where I might find a knob (part number SK6946) or any other solution such as an alternative which fits?
