Mend Whirlpool AWZ220 Dryer Longer Dry Clothes

How can I fix my Whirlpool AWZ220 Tumble Dryer?

My Whirlpool Tumble Dryer AWZ220 is now taking twice as long, if not longer to dry the same amount of clothes. It does heat up but not to the same temperature as before. Is it possible to fix this problem or has it come to the end of its life? (6 1/2 years old)
