Mend GHD Turn Spark Wire

i've broken my GHD's how can i fix them?

when i turn them on they spark from the wire, and the LED doesn't come on. :(

Sounds like a short/break in the wire you need to find it and repair preferably by solder. the spark is the break and wires just catching as they touch. Girlfriends was doing the same and they are fixed now 20minute job.
