Mend Westwood T1200 Switch Lights Work

wiring diagram?

hi i have a westwood t1200 it came with no ig switch i got one off ebay it's not the same. all the dash lights work but it won't turn the starter.if i put a wire on the starter it will turn but it won't fire up. there is a spark and petrol in.just wandering if the wires are in the wrong place tryed the wires all over the switch can u help pls.my email addy is steven1557@btinternet.com.thanks steve

Dont want to offend but have you checked to make sure that the brake is engaged and the cutter bed disengaged there are electronic safetys which will prevent it starting.

failing that, put a scredriver over the celanoid contacts

or use the pull start
