how can i fix my 04 mark 5 golf gt tdi 2.0?

my golf is leaking water and i think its going in on top of one of the pistons because when i dont start the car for 2 days the water goes down and the engine locks up when i go to start it,its like the water is stoping the piston from coming up all the way,is there anybody out there that ever had this problem
