Water leaking from engine compartment, 04 Focus 1.6?
I found a puddle of water under the car after a short journey. On opening the bonnet, I can see it dripping from an "open end" at the bottom of the bulkhead on the passenger side, it looks like a hose has come of, except there's no loose hose. The open end is directly under another two hoses, one on top of each other, that look to come from / go to the engine. Could someone help please?
Is the water coloured? Ford coolant is either blue or red, if its the original. Check to see if the coolant expansion bottle (left inner wing, under bonnet) is low. Has your car air conditioning? If so, this could just be a condensate puddle that all A/C equipped cars produce.
