Mend Baumatic Heats Main Heating

My Baumatic BT3600ss heats up on it's own!?

When mains power is switched on, the main oven starts heating up despite not being switched on! Is this a faulty thermostat or a another electrical fault. Any advice very welcome. It's a brand new oven but acquired second hand hence no guarantee to fall back on.
