01 sdi caddy wont rev up?

thanks kev will try that but my van never stops it will also start and run but never revs up you can drive it all day but wont rev up sometimes if you start it after a few days it might rev up for a while and then drop back to just above idle

Hi it could be some of the relays, i had an sdi golf once and heater light started to flash which is the same thing as a engine management light on other vehicles, found out eventually it was a certain relay(sorry cant remember the number of it) my golfs symptoms where slightly different mine kept cutting out + plus losing power this relay is quite common and if you ring volkswagon they might tell you which relay it is. To recollection it was under £50 but not sure, dont buy it until you are sure that its the problem for they are non returnable as far as i remember
