my speedometer and odometer are stuck on my ford mondeo lx 1994?

I had this problem on a mondeo GLX (L reg) It sorted it's self after I hit the dash a few times.

I would not recommed doing this but it wirked for me.

If its a cable driven unit will need to check cable if its a electrical unit will need to check vss from transmission ..vechile speed sensor .....located on side of trans
if those are OK will proably need to send dash unit out for repair ifs its a cable driven type its easy to diag but if it is a electrical type will proably need a diag tool to hook to computer
