i have an automatic window mechanism in my vectra,every time i lock the car the front two windows close.the problem is the drivers side window when closing shuts at the top but for some reason comes back down a couple of inches,obviously i can't lock the car like this,i've noticed that when the window closes it comes out if line by about an inch.please help
As a quick possible solution try spraying WD40 in the window runners. I found with my vectra that the windows would come up misaligned but following the WD40 the movement was much smoother and improved in alignment. The only problem is that you will have to spray the runners regularly as it isnt a permanent solution. When i get round to it i will grease the runners on mine.
