How can I fix 4 red lights? (X-Box 360)?

When I turn on my xbox, four red lights are red and flashing. Is there a quick fix instead of paying hundreds?

have you had your xbox for more than 3 yrs? this is a known problem by microsoft, mine done it last week. contacted xbox through internet and they extended warranty to 3 yrs. they picked it up next day and had it back within they week not having to pay a penny

check all the wires going into the xbox 360,
my sons did this, rang microsoft who said one of th wires must be loose, felt like a right idiot lol
