Mend Yamaha Breeze Running Gas Half

Why does my Yamaha quit running when the gas tank is half empty?

When my (~2001) Yamaha Breeze with automatic transmission gas tank is half-empty it quits running. The reserve tank is not the problem.

Its possible the vent hole in your fuel filler cap is blocked.This creates a partial vaccum in the tank when fuel is used,eventually the fuel will no longer flow.Next time it does it,remove the cap and retry.
