Attempted to open the bonnet, the opening mechanism within the cabin would not move, and through brute strength the handle broke. The cable to the bonnet release gear must be seized. Any idea's of how to free up?

Yeah you have to fight thriugh the front grill to release the catch or under the car removr the under trays and go from there.
