Mend Worcester Bosch 24i junior Boiler Pcb

Worcester Bosch 24i junior Combination boiler 4 years old?

Having had to buy a new board PCB in July 2008. Which I was not very happy about then as it was just out of warranty. It has now packed up again with the same symptoms as before. We had the plumber out who stated it was the board PCB again. I have out to be without heating for a week in the most freezing of conditions. Has anyone else experienced this with their worcester boiler? Also because all these PCB's are made abroad cheaply we are getting rubbish.

I have the same question, about mine as well a corgi engineer says its the PCB so i will take that advice an check it first before i purchase a new one

Sometimes it's not the circuit boards that fail so much as the connections to/from it. I have a dishwasher which plays up every 7-8 months and I have to take out the circuit board clean the slide on connections and remove any surface corrosion and then it works again. It might be worth your while taking out your CB and looking at it very carefully for any signs of deterioration. Might just work!
