Why is my mower not getting gas?

I have an old murray riding mower, today it acts as if it is not getting gas well and well shut off when the blade is turned on.

The high speed jets in the carb are clogged and you are not getting enough fuel under load. Remove and clean carb. Flush tank before reinstalling.
