Mend Hygena APL 2742 Cooker Hood Working

Hygena APL 2742 Cooker hood fan not working?

Hi, the fan on my hood has stopped working, the lights are working except the small neon fan indicator. The main sw is supplying power to the motor, I have put my ohm meter across all the motor windings which reads I have a circuit, any ideas please?

Thanks Foxy, I have double checked the switch & found that it was not connecting on the neutral side of the switch, I am in the process of ordering a new PCB.

Hi Hayabusman, it is more than likely not the motor, it is the pcb switch assy.Was the neon flickering recently? You will need a new pcb W0000051.
try the interspares website,they may have one or put you in touch with someone.All the best.

Thanks airkool, I just want to be certain that it is the motor, can you tell me of any other checks I can make to be sure?
I have seen other sites that can supply parts so I don't think that will be a problem.

u will need to replace the fan motor but that could be problem as mfi gone bust and cant get parts
