Technical Information For Chaffoteaux Britony 11T gas water heater?

Hi I have a Chaffoteaux Britony 11T gas water heater, approx. 15years old, which has suddenly decided not to heat the water efficiently...it is about tepid now. Prior to that it was hand hot... before that you needed to mix cold water
in to insure against scalding.
I have inspected the gas jet hole, which seems ok.
I've just checked the water govenor, which seemed clean enough.
Can anyone let me know what else could be wrong with it, and how I could do the repairs?

I just called the customer service number on the ariston site http://www.ariston.co.uk/services-customer.php?t=0 Tel: 0870 600 9888 and got put through to an engineer who was very helpful.
when i neede a repair i looked up LGP gas repairers - you could try the corgi site which lets you put in your postcode and the type of work you want doing (water heaters) then the type of gas etc etc. http://www.trustcorgi.com/findinstaller/findinstallerlanding.htmx it seems to work really well and i got a good guy from here.
