rover 25 heater runs cold?

my heater runs cold and the heatig gauge is higher than normal.my top hose from rad is hot but the bottom hose is cold help.

heater element behind glove box has burnt out on 1st and 2nd setting.you can buy a replacement on ebay to resolder on or send yours off for a bit more cost.same happened to mine.sorted now .
