Machine will work fine for days, and then top thread starts breaking regularly and bottom tension goes loose. We change needles and adjust tension machine may work for a few minutes and then fault returns. The next day machine may work fine. Has anyone else had the same fault, could it be the electronics on the machine
Hello Maralyn,
Unlikely an electronic fault unless the top tension is set electronically which some machines are and they are an absolute pain, all you can do is set the top tension between 4 and 6 and make sure you can just pull the bobbin thread through with some resistence, if the top thread is breaking the top tension may be too tight.
