Mend Boiler Timer Problem

my boiler wont stop firing?

My oil boiler has been firing for 2hrs now. the timer is off, the thermostats are low.what could be the problem?

Hi do you know the make or type of oil boiler that you have?

Does it have a frost 'stat? If so it will override any programmer setting because it is trying to prevent your system from freezing. Check its setting 2-3 oC. How cold is it where you are?
If everything checks out ok, then start suspecting a jammed switch in the programmer
