How do I clean the heat exchanger?

I have recently purchased a Beko condenser tumble dryer. The instructions say I have to clean the heat exchanger once a month but does not tell me how to clean it! Can anyone help?

thank you so much you just saved me loads of money...i was going to buy a new tumble dryer because i thought mine was broke but just the heat exchanger needed cleaning

Bottom right hand corner , open the flap and behind that is the filter , there are 4 pull round lung , 3 white 1 red , go careful with the red one as that clases the micro switch that allows it to operate, pull these round and pull out filter , wash out , showers good , but wacth what goes down the drain , shake dry and reassemble ,

just pull the whole unit out and rince really well under a running tap until you can see clearly through all the cells
