After one or two loads the dryer makes an intermittent screeching noise. Is this a bearing breaking up? Can it be replaced?

chris,wp dryers do not have ball bearings,their more like metal sleaves or bushings.hey take your dryer apart ,it would take me less than 5 minutes thats how eazy it is.then inspect all rollers/wheels.if not damaged clean and oil,also clean and oil idler pulley,the belt goes on that one.also look for somthing metalic in the felt seals.you can do it ,yes we can
