Mend Craftsman 917388360 Model Start Replace

I have a craftman eager 1 model # 917388360 push lawnmower?

when it start after just a few minutes it shuts off . I replace filter,plug.It ran that day with no problems after i wash it off and went to use it the next time it was shuting off again after run for three minutes.

Try running it with the gas cap loose. If the vents in the cap are plugged up it develops a vacuum in the tank, and fuel can't flow to the carb fast enough to keep the engine running. If it runs OK with the cap loose clean or replace the cap.
