Mend Hoover HD98E Dishwasher Noise Kitchen

HOOVER HD98E NOISE?

I HAVENT USED MY HOOVER HD98E DISHWASHER FOR A LONG TIME AS ITS BEEN IN STORAGE. I USED IT SUNDAY AND PUT IT ON THE HOTTEST CYCLE. ABOUT A HOUR INTO THE CYCLE IT KEPT MAKING A LOUD BANG NOISE. AFTER 3 LOUD BANGS I TURNED IT OFF (IT WAS STILL WORKING). THERE ARE NO VISIBLE SIGNS OF DAMAGE-DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS?
