FORD 5000 AFTER PUTTING CODE THE UNIT TURNS OFF?

HI EVERYBODY.MY PROBLEM IS THE FORD 5000 AFTER PUTTING IN THE CODE THE UNIT SWITCHES OFF. I HAVE FOUND THIS WITH A FEW OF THESE I HAVE BOUGHT.HAS ANYBODY WHO KNOWS THESE UNITS GOT ANY IDEAS AS TO THE PROBLEM AND HOW I CAN RECTIFY IT. REGARDS terrartie
