Mend Homelite Starts Switch Year

Chain doesn't rotate?

Motor starts but cannot get the chain to rotate. It acts like a safety switch is stuck. The saw is less than a year old. It's a Homelite.

Also try pulling back on the chain brake that can also cause the chain not to spin.

My gardener had same problem with new chain saw it was tension of the chain causing it to rotate very very slow.
Try adjustment. I assume it's gauranteed if so return it as faulty.
