My handle has snapped off my double glazed back door, recently moved in so don't know what make the door is. It was always difficult to lock and we had to push it right up to be able to lock it, this has obviously worn the handle to the point it has snapped off. Any help would be appreciated.
door dropped needs racking back up ,that why difficult to lock.door handle may be a problem numerous types spindle to lock centre 70mm or 92mm but also could be 2 screw fitting or 3 screw fitting suggest you get a fitter to do this and source handle unless name of handle on back of back plate when taken of you will be able to source it

it sounds like your door sash needs re-packing,it is advised you get this done asap before you damage the door lockstrip itself and buy a new set of handles to repair the broken one,if you need any more info you can e-mail me through my website
