Mend AEG Tumble Condenser Light

tumble dryers?

Hello I have an AEG Lavatherm 5200 (condenser dryer).....and the light indicating a full water tank will not go off....I have emptied water and cleaned dust off tray.....but still wont go off....so dryer wont switch on....please help!

Ours has just developed the same problem. As an emergency measure, we find that tipping the machine forward allows the condensed water to drain from underneath the machine onto the floor (stand by with mop & bucket!). The machine can then be started again, and will run ok until the next time it needs to be emptied. This might help till you can get some proper advice from an engineer.
