Mend Zanussi DE6544 Dishwasher Drain Pump Blockage

How can I fix my dishwasher - Zanussi DE6544?

The dishwasher will not drain (drying phase indicator light flashing).
How do you, and is it easy to remove and check the drain pump for blockage.
When machine is on you can hear the drain pump humm and it gets warm.

sounds like something is jammed in the drain pump impellor.you say it gets warm so you must of found it in the base.removal is straight forward quarter twist or remove clamps.stop running it jammed as you could cause a problem with the pump or at worst blow control pcb!.
