Mend Ford Transit 1996 Fitted

how to replace drivers door glass ? on ford transit 1996?

I have got my new glass and fitted the rubber onto the metal bracket with the help of washing up liquid.

however after removing the window sorround from the door - the glass wont fit back i ve tried diff ways - im pretty sure its the right glass and looks about right-


help what am i doing wrong ????
