Mend Peugeot Speedfight 50 Bought 50cc

my bike is slow?

i have recently bought a 50cc speedfight and it is was compltly standard and topped about 34mph i have just fitted a sport exsaust and now it seems to be goin slower what could be the problem

Some Exhausts have a restricter in them. look down the top of the exhaust at the front and you'll see a small washer, remove it.
Slow running: Make sure the Throttle and Oil pump are set up right, loss of compression, Brakes binding, Air filter clogged.
