Does a Speedfight 2 50cc immobiliser/ignition unit fit the 100cc model?
I bought a T reg 100cc speedfight 2 cheap due to keys were lost, I have managed to trace a unit with red key but its from the smaller 50cc model, its the only one I have found so-far second hand too... whether the ignition system is compatible, I haven't a clue...
Would the a Speedfight 2 50cc immobiliser/ignition unit fit a 100cc model & work properly...
Am I possibly lucky or do I have to continue my search, I hazard to guess..
im pretty sure you have to change the primary igniton coils at least to overcome the immobiliser so that would still be more expensive than just buying a new unimmobilised box for it from electrex

I cannot read the thread I found as its in chinese, but going by what I do see, it looks like details on over-riding the immobiliser...

keep searching they are different the strokes are different which is why the capacitors in the cdi units discharge at different times.using only a red key will eventually bugger the immobiliser up anyway the black key is for everyday use the red key is a master key used only when programming the immobiliser when the bike is built and pdi,d out of the crate.ok if you get secondhand bits make sure you get both keys or you will be sorry
