Mend Bosch HBA578BS0 Oven Cooker

bosch fan oven?

the main oven went bang and spark'd ,now the top oven still works fine, and the main oven the fan works but no heat,what could the problem be?..i have a bosch double oven with a fan assisted bottom oven.its only about 2-3yrs old.

The element has probably blown. Its usually wrapped around the outisde of the fan. The element heats the air and the fan blows that hot air around the oven. Elements are usually cheap enough to but, around £15 to £20. But you will need to replace it. Be wary that if you do it yourself to isolate the electricty first!
