Mend Diplomat WMB714W Washing Leak Door

Can I anyone tell me how to fix a wasjhing machine that keeps filling?

My Diplomat washing machine keeps filling to the point where water starts to come out of the door/soap tray etc. Does anyone know what can be done to fix this?

Just to let you know that I found out the problem, it was a blockage in the drainage pipe that stopped a vacuum that senses that the machine has the correct amount of water in.

Sounds like you got the same problem I had and after it flooded the floor and kitchen I took it outside to have a look.
Seems the electric timer on it had quit working ,,,,,can proably work it fine if you manually turn dial .....and go thru the cycles
I finally found a new timer and it OK now.
Will have to dismantle top control panel and look for the timer thou ........
