Your thread doesn't qiute make it clear if this is on the inside of the machine or is visible on the exterior of the machine. I too have a iz 16s that was leaking though that was down to my ferret and his taste for rubber. Do you live in a hard water area as I had a slight build up of scale at the base of the door window , which presses on the seal. This contributed to the problem as I had a little river on occassions appear on the front of my machine. I took the door apart and cleaned up the glass with a liquid descaler and toothbrush which sorted it for a while, but then replaced the door seal at a later date.Seal was about ÂŁ30 and took a couple of hours to fit.Much of that was just to get at the front,by removing the motor ,electrics and dropping the drum out.My local engineer said he does them in about 45 minutes.Give me a little more detail about where the water appears.i.e. if it appears from under the machine. With a bit of careful positioning and long enough hoses you may be able to run the machine with the back off.This might allow u to source your leak. Just dont touch it until the powers off.
