oven lights but will not regulate flame. not very hot?

when i lit my oven the flame did not rise, it stayed low no matter how high i tried to turn it. any suggestions as to what the problem might be?

Hi Pam, possibly the flame failure device is in need of replacement.This will need a Corgi engineer as gas pipes have to be accessed.All the best.
