Mend Diplomat 8500/8501/8502 Light Flashing Power

Diplomat 8500/8501/8502 Green light flashing?

My Diplomat 8500/8501/8502 Dishwasher is not cleaning efficiently. The power switch flashes four times in sequence, then a pause and then does it again. The booklet suggests that this indicates that there is a fault.

Can anyone suggest what the fault is ?

Hi Phil, this machine was manufactured by whirlpool and F4 on these machines is a draining fault.Check the drain hose and outlet then check that the pump runs and drains the water.If it doesnot then the pump may be jammed.If it does then the likely fault is the pressure switch.All the best.
