Mend Worcester 28i Junior Boiler Overheat Thermostat

melted air preassure switch?

I have replaced a faulty air preassure switch on my worcester 28i junior to find out that the new one has melted to after about 5 hours use. checked fan, flue, all ok. could it be the over heat thermostat?

problem is the pcb making the fan run at low speed when the burner is on there for flames lick up the side of the heat exchanger , ignition gas services sheffield

Other thing that can do this on the old i jrs is a blocked heat exchanger. Flames lick up the side and bingo, melted aps.
