which way do I turn the pressure valve please?

I would very grateful if somebody could answer what must seem like a dumb question. I have a Worcester 28si Combi Boiler and the pressure is holding between 3 and 4. I have bled very rad and think I now need to adjust the PV - but which way clockwise or anti colockwise, I dont want to make the problem worse thro trial and error. thank you
